ClimaModel SEJ-511 is a Research Group supported by Junta de AndalucĂ­a (Andalusian Regional Government) in Spain since 2011, which includes researchers and professors from the Loyola University, Pablo de Olavide University and University of Seville.

Main researcher of the group is Dr. Manuel Alejandro Cardenete, Professor of Economics at Loyola University and Visiting Research Professor at Georgetown University.

The team has more than twenty five years of experience in the construction, updating and regionalization of Social Accounting Matrices (SAM) and in Multisectoral Models focused to environmental issues, climate change and public policies through Input-Output Tables, SAM and Computable General Equilibrium Models. (CGE), using PyIO, SIMSIPSAM, GAMS and GTAP as softwares.

In addition to the main research work, the ClimaModel Group also carries out consultancy and knowledge transfer tasks in the aforementioned fields.
