Professor Cardenete will give a conference at the Center for Economic Teaching and Research (CIDE) in Mexico City on October 29. It will discuss the importance of economic modeling for public decision-making.

In this presentation we contextualize the importance of more efficient taxation in a context of economic slowdown.

On April 14, at the University Rey de Juan Carlos in Madrid, we will present a study on the impact of the drought in Spain, carried out jointly with professors Beltrán and Villegas, within the framework of a Workshop on Input-Output Modeling

Professor Cardenete will teach a module on I-O and Social Accounting Matrices at the International School of Input-Output in the framework of the 29th International Input-Output Conference to celebrate in Sardinia (Italy) next June 26th-30th. Professor Cardenete will be next Thursday in the Campus in Tokyo of Sophia University and he will have a meeting with Department of Economics and with his Director, Professor Horie to talk about future collaboration in research.
