Welcome to my personal web page. My name is Manuel Alejandro Cardenete and I am a Professor of Economics at Universidad Loyola and Universidad Pablo de Olavide (on leave). Currently I am Councillor and President of Camara de Cuentas of Andalusia. Principal Researcher of CLIMAMODEL SEJ-511 (Multisectoral Modeling and Climate Change), Vicepresident of Sociedad Hispanoamericana Input-Output and also Numerary Academician of Academia Andaluza de Ciencia Regional.

Professor Cardenete has been developing his research work in the field of Multisectoral Modeling for more than 30 years. Expert in analysis of Input-Output Tables, Social Accounting Matrices and modeling with Applied General Equilibrium Models. He has carried out his research both regionally, nationally and multinationally, giving doctoral training in Spain as well as in the United Kingdom, Portugal, the United States, Mexico, Chile, the Philippines and Japan, to cite some of them, and in Multilateral Organizations such as European Commission, Asian Development Bank or World Bank, among others. The field of application has been very extensive, ranging from taxation, analysis of large investment projects, both public and private, transportation, the environment and energy.
